Swatch printed on linen-cotton canvas less bright, but good depth in the colors, as shown in the 2nd thumbnail above; brightness, color depth and textural detail are all excellent in the faux suede (4th thumbnail, double click for a clearer view). I'd expect this design to print 'as seen' in any of the polyesters, wallpaper and gift wrap.
A companion design in the same palette is 'Dark reds in cubes of color'.

Swatch on faux suede - this fabric gives wonderful depth to the colors and textures, I'm quite in love with it.

Wow - thanks so much Tina, Boo and Shirley for your 'sumptuous' comments - that's pretty much how I feel about this design too. Thanks for the extra usage suggestions too, I do like the idea of a skirt, definitely long - and you did make me laugh Shirley at your height disappointment (challenge?) :-)

This is such a rich sumptuois design- have already imagined its varied uses bur my favorite is a skirt -maybe long- but then the disappointment in knowing that I need to match up to this ,needing to be many inches taller- oh well........
Wowza Su, those colours are just stunning! Fabulous textures, so rich overall. Love it!
Gorgeous design! Those colors are so lush and rich! Such a great idea as a warm accent in a neutral room! I love the whole collection!
Thanks very much for your lovely warm (that's my tongue-in-cheek) comments on this one Alex and Rhonda, I'm glad the warmth of this design comes across. I'm thinking of using it - and some of its relatives - to develop a cheater quilt... to spread that warmth over a bed...

There is a wonderful feeling of comforting, cosy warmth wrapped up in the rich colours of this gorgeous design!
Bringing warmth to a study (but maybe not with orange flowers...)
Swatch on linen-cotton canvas - lots of textural depth of color but nowhere near as bright as the design image. I'm not sure whether this is the fabric type (as I've lost my original proofing swatch & this is in V2.1 color anyway) so would recommend to check with a swatch before ordering quantity.
