Thanks so much Victoria - I haven't done anything in chalk for a while and I've almost forgotten how yummy the textures are, so really appreciate your comment!

I really like the texture!
Belated thanks Jasmin for your nice comment and feedback - only came across it in my spot review to see what else might need to be fixed in my designs... Thanks again, I do appreciate it!

So beautiful. I should have commented ages ago, lol. Since it's nice and cold at the moment, I'm doing more yarn and fibre stuff so maybe i've got it on the brain... but this is just like a beautiful weaving, or a tapestry. Rich, bright and textured.

Really appreciate your feedback Tina, thank you! (Especially on these abstracts which are all about color and the color interruptions of texture, chalk is such a great thing to work with digitally!)
Such beautiful rich combinations of shapes and color!
Swatch on silk crepe de chine - nice depth of color (not quite as bright as the design image) but I'm really pleased with how this printed on the silk.

Thanks so much for sharing that Deborah - I am so impressed (and motivated!)

This is a throw pillow made from Su_G's "Manly Lines of Chalk" printed on Spoonflower's Kona cotton. The picture does not do the colors in this design justice. It's a wonderfully constructed design of color.

Love your word picture for this Sheila, can almost taste that chocolate & feel the fire - thanks so much, I really really appreciate your generous comments.

A nubby southwestern blanket. I am sitting on the sofa reading, and there is a fire going, snow floating down gently. A mug of Mexican hot chocolate next to me. These are all fabulous Su!
I am in awe of your combined creative visions Joan, Rhonda & Patricia! Chenille (a wonderful texture), an outdoor book fair after a summery rain shower, and waterfalls on solidified iron oxide lava... I couldn't have imagined half as much! I grew up in an area where the gold comes in ironstone and so I relate very strongly to those metaphors. Thanks so much for telling what you see!
This reminds me of waterfalls on Kauai, Hawaii. There is red iron oxide soil. Some lava solidifies into angular, vertical columns. Your texture is superb.
These uneven rows of vertical bands of colour make me think of an outdoor book fair viewed from a distance ... perhaps after a sudden, summery, rain shower! At first glance I thought that it was your entry into the Spoonflower competition for the, "Love of Books", theme Su! Maybe you should enter it!
The textures remind me of chenille!
