So pleased with how this printed on faux suede - as shown in the 2nd thumbnail above (double click gives a clearer view): beautiful depth of color and all colors printed well and accurate to the design image.
Chalk on canvas, designed as a composite half brick, basic repeat.
[Fabric: 200 ppi, Wallpaper: 210, Gift wrap: 150 ppi]
Note: Printed lighter on fabric (in the previous V1 color system) than it looks on the monitor and I have not reprinted it yet in the new V2.1 color system.

Thanks so much Tina for your great feedback on the faux suede test print - I feel that fabric type really REALLY adds something to these textural abstracts - and thanks too for having a look at, and your feedback on, the Collection - much appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback on this design Janiece and Penina. Interesting the comparison to Eqyptian hand woven cloths Janiece, I have a copy of an ancient Egyptian palette that has very much the same colors - have used it in a few other designs but in this it is a 'happy accident'.

Reminds me of Eqyption hand woven cloths. Some friends went toEq¥pt the day before 9-11 and og stuck there for weeks. They brought home a bunch of textiles and this reminds me of some of the styles and colloring on them.
I love the colors and the energy of this, as well as the pastel texture!
Thanks for the interesting comment Patricia - you motivated me to look up "Broadway Boogie Woogie" by Mondrian & found this fascinating link http://www.webexhibits.org/colorart/mondrian2.html which demonstrates a particular feature: "Our brains cannot position the yellow and gray areas accurately in the painting because they have the same brightness. That is the origin of the jittery motion we seem to see in the painting".
Love the rich reds. Reminds me of "Broadway Boogie-Woogie" by Mondrian, but agree it is a glistening dark night!
Thanks so much for your "view from an urban transit train window as it speeds through a city on a dark, wet, night" interpretation Rhonda - you have really captured it there!
The broken pattern of colours and rectangular boxy shapes of this stunning design gives a strong impression of the view from an urban transit train window as it speeds through a city on a dark, wet, night!
Thanks for the comments Joan and Marie and glad you like the colors Marie - I'm trying to do some that might have a more masculine appeal....
