Vintage Mar...I'm so sorry that the fabric color is affected by light shining thru it. The image color is an rgb gray. http://www.color-hex.com/color/808183 That is the color used in the image. If the sun is not shining through the fabric is it gray? If I remember correctly my proof on Kona cotton the fabric printed as gray. Maybe you can line the fabric so the sun does not factor into your color scheme?

I finally got around to making my window curtains out of this fabric. So disappointed, because with the light shining through, what I thought was gray is actually blue. I had put in "gray" and "yellow" when searching for a fabric. My bathroom is done in gray and yellow.
Kathleen, I've sent you email. :-)

When will this be back in stock?
Your style combo totally works, and yay for yellow and gray! :)

Kelly, thanks soooo much!
really nice - yep, Grand sums it up - shining and bright and elegant.
Thank you Maria!
what a great combination of lines!
Thanks Victoria and Francine. I love it that you connected old Hollywood/Garbo with this. That's what it reminds me of too.
This is so Grand (with a capital G) that it conjures up Garbo and Hollywood. Really beautiful Virginia!
I feel a sense of serenity when I gaze at this lovely design. Not sure why; but I do.
Cean, thanks sooo much. :-)
So great, Vo! The deco rays give a torch feel and then that wonderful organic flower bud comes along to make the flame. super!
Wren and Pat, thanks so much (you would not believe how many different designs I tried to do before I came up with this one!). I appreciate your fab comments!
Wow...now this is a stunning design...bold and beautiful
This screams Art Deco...elements fit together thoughtfully.
Kelly, thanks for such nice compliments!
Very nice feel to this composition, lovely florals and colors!
Thanks Carina! btw, welcome back!
so cool Vo, and it looks great on yards!! :)
Kez and Julie, thanks...I can only hope someone wants to buy it for drapes or upholstering something!
Brilliant design! Looks great as a few yards, would make beautiful drapes!
Ooh very nice design!
Poetry, whew! Thanks! Mixing those curves with pointy sharp lines was reallllly making me work. I'm glad it works for you!
Karen, thanks, I hope it' hits the voters as usable Deco!
I really like the way you mixed the sharp deco lines with the curvacious flowers - nice!
This is wonderful. The design really says Art Deco.
Su, hahahah, I can still see where the shapes make a spidery kind of design. Ok, so it's a bit abstract and subtle but I swear it's like one of those things where you un-focus the eyes and it pops out at you.
It's always fab to see how differently we see the themes. AND how differently voters see them from designers. :-)
Dramatic & dynamic! Not a hint of giant spider...
well, it looks like everyone was inspired very differently, so it'll be a fantastic contest for sure.
Thanks Rachel, I hope to see lots of art deco in the contest!
love the boldness, very striking and so perfect for the theme. Looks great in yardage too.
Thanks Isabella and Siya; the sunburst is a particular favorite of mine but man oh man that was hard to do without making it look like a giant spider in the repeat! LOL.
Your design is radiating Art Deco style, Vo. I can't help but see it as an allegory. You've masterfully depicted Art Deco rising while Art Nouveau withdraws to the shadows.
Oh thank you Alex, Claire, Amy and Rhonda. I appreciate all of your comments...Coming up with a design gave me a headache and these fab comments make my head feel better!
There is a stately grandeur to this lovely design! It would look right at home amid the adornments of a magnificent public building decorated in the Art Decor style!
Oh wow. This would make wonderful upholstery fabric!
Ooo dreamy, love that yellow colour, like that it's on the cusp between Nouveau and Deco, gorgeous way to combine the two :) xx.
Very theatrical - like the dark roses too!
Thanks, this theme threw me for a loop so nice comments are especially sweet! Nouveau = Bingo! Not very many points without a TWS!
I love your deco with a nod to curvaceous nouveau (great scrabble words both btw). Looks fantastic as yardage too!! :) xxx
