I'm inspired by bright colors, pleasing color combinations, and vintage objects. If you like one of my designs but the size is wrong, let me know - the scale can readily be changed. Ordering a test swatch, before you commit to yardage, is recommended.

Description:

Pacific ocean clams (littleneck, razor, manila) in pale cream, black and white on blue-green. "Old Settler's Song (Acres of Clams)" is a Northwest United States folk song written by Francis D. Henry around 1874. The lyrics are sung to the tune "Old Rosin the Beau." --Wikipedia. 600 ppi - can be enlarged by request.

pennycandy

pennycandy says: You have elevated the beauty of the clams by bringing out their simple yet elegant, natural features with such clean lines and a limited color palette. Wish I could find some like this on the beach in Seattle--they're usually all covered in seaweed. ;-)

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: These clams look good enough to eat! Oops! Some of them have already fallen down some throats! This is a splendid ditsy design! It would be wonderful made up into tablecloths for a seafood restaurant that specialised in clam chowder!
