'Flower-spoon-tea (Black on ...'
Designed for a Spoonflower pattern of the week competition - this would be a good design for a Kitchen Apron, Tablecloth or Teatowels. As with most of my designs this works well in all different repeats.

freakgeekunique says: I'm thinking this could have been even better if I'd have introduced rotational symmetry by repeating the pattern 4 times and rotating the teaspoonflower in the centre 90 degrees on each repeat. However I only found out the theme and entered the competition the day before so I had my work cut out just getting it entered on time. Think I'll do "flower-spoon-tea variation" just for personal satisfaction.

In this case the first two produce chains of large teaspoon flower blooms interspersed with the smaller full flower. In basic repeat you have full blooms and in mirror the spoonstem stamens have mirror symmetry rather than rotational (and the teaspoonflowers face in different directions).
