I make my own repeats about 99.9 percent of the time and for this one........I decide to try out a mirror repeat with the online tool. I was surprised at how much I liked it. Thanks so much for the great review!
What a beauty! I'm not normally a fan of mirror repeats but you've won me over with this one. Su's idea of the A-line skirt sounds fab......I'd definitely wear one!
The voile might just be the thing for this. Sateen for pillows might be good or even the cotton/linen for a handbag. I wonder how a formal dress would look with the cotton/silk. It would print a bit lighter, but that might be a neat look. Possibly even for bridesmaids dresses.
The more I look at this the more I like it, it would look great in a peasant blouse in cool voile, or cut up in an A-line skirt with panels, or as a bedcover in a blue & white bedroom... so many possibilities.
Thanks Su. The layering really gave more delicateness to the printing. It reminds me of what we know as flo blue porcelain.
Beautiful blues, I love the lacey little do-dahs and the layering.
