My baby book for mini Doctor Who fans was so much fun to do I thought I'd do a cuddle TARDIS! Plus secret pocket for special trading cards or whatever :)
Instructions: Press fabric and cut out parts. At all stages stitch just inside inner thin black line for a neat finish - and you may want to overlock raw edges for durability. Hem across the top of the secret pocket piece and sew onto the corresponding tardis side. Sew the 4 tardis sides together creating a strip. Sew the 'triangles' forming a 'pyramid'. (You may want to add a decorative button or hanging ribbon to the centre of the top). Attach the strip of tardis sides to the pyramid top. Now sew the K-9 base square. Carefully stitch the top and the bottom of the remaining open side leaving a 3" gap. Carefully snip corners to ease turning (especially if on heavier fabrics). Turn right side out and press the open seam neatly. Stuff with polyester fibre stuffing, hand sew shut.
