This probably isn't the typical Spoonflower shop -- these are the kinds of things I wish were in the fabric store when I was a kid, bored out of my mind while my mom was there for hours on end. My Etsy and blog links:

The skyline. The river. The weather. The Artist Once Again Known as Prince. Uff da, she's a beaut!

Aw, thank you I.H.!

I really like this wintery, riverside streetscape. The deeper colour in the reflections is beautiful and the blending between the sky and the water is very nicely done.
The faint letters in the blue stars are just a "reflection" of the stars that say MINNEAPOLIS. The idea was that the entire skyline, and the stars above it, would be reflected in the river, and that would shift into being the snowy sky above the next repeat below it... if that makes sense? As for being garish -- blame it on our local hero Prince (the letters and the colors are inspired by his "1999" album cover). This is my first attempt at a Contest entry -- hope it doesn't embarrass me into being my last!
Almost TOO garish for words and yet it has something, this design. Would be fabulous as a backdrop in a late night cafe or something like that! Great to see the close up sharp image but what do all the words in the stars say? I couldn't read the first two lines (Minneapolis I get).
