We have this beautiful bush, in our yard, with flowers about 3 inches across that look just like giant Buttercups. I recently searched images on Google to discover that it is actually Hypericum Hidcote, a close relative to Saint John's wort. It blooms all Summer into October; sometimes even later, depending on how cold it gets.
This is Impressionistic, not botanically accurate; although the colors were lifted from a photo I took.

Yes there is a stripe in this collection. There is a double. dark green, stripe behind all those flowers in the upper left design; and the upper right twigs form a sort of zigzag stripe.
