This is a "cheater" patchwork design that took forever. It has:
re-creations of patches, pins, and vintage fabric;
scans of ACTUAL patches, pins, and vintage fabric (some of them from my very own thrift store jackets);
bits of my various designs and illustrations made to look like patches...
all of this against a classic blue-jean denim. The seamless repeat is 14" square.
Obviously the uses for it are endless: clothes (for humans, dolls, puppets), quilts, bags and purses, book covers, lampshades, pillows, curtains... you could even sew scraps of it together with other fabric in a patchwork design, but then your project might explode from awesomeness.
