Whether these Victorian tinged diagonally oriented squares are quilt patches or glazed bathroom tiles is something I can't decide, but I do know that this design consists of two different of these diagonally oriented squares alternating.
There is the heart square with three interlocking hearts at the top and bottom of it, inside the coffee brown stripe. And there is the red square with cheerful morning glories in place of those hearts.
Between those are abstract geometric shapes and more hearts if you look closely.
