Description
This is identical to my original "it’s raining hedgehogs" design except for the addition of solid green at the selvage. This was at the suggestion of my, soon to be professional, artist, son who suggested it would give a neater hem. If you prefer a more stylized vision for the grass, check out the original “it’s raining hedgehogs border print” design in my gallery. If you would prefer a narrow strip of green instead of the wide border please let me know and I will place it back for sale. Perfect for a baby or toddler dress this fabric was designed to allow the dress, or skirt pieces to be cut from one side of the fabric and the pieces for bloomers to be cut from the other side. Although it cannot be seen in this scale, there are falling hedgehogs on the other selvage though without the grass and flower border where they are landing. The hedgehogs are approximately 1/4" in size and tumble down to land safely in the grass. Although one poor fellow has landed on his rump I assure you he was not injured. You can see them in more detail if you check out my other "raining hedgehogs" patterns in my Gallery; which are not for sale as they were uploaded only to show the detail in this pattern.
