This design is weird. Okay, I said it. It has the horizontal and vertical elements of a plaid, but nope, it isn't plaid. I am at a loss to explain what it is. You have these columns of folded wings running vertically between alternating amoeba ovals. Colorwise, it is much brighter on my screen than in print. More teal than true turquoise in print.
