Brownish-branch-like needles run through this purple and white design making me think of Christmas tree needles in late January. There is nothing concrete/real within this design. It is all abstract: white zig zag lines creating various sized vertical rows of diamond shapes. But it looks nice so who cares what it is. I remember in nursery school, having a great time at the easel with the bright paints and then being asked by the grown ups "what is it?" I wasn't rude enough to answer "just colored paint, stupid" back then. But now that I am an adult, I am not afraid to say that not all art is representational of anything.
