Back in the first quarter of the 20th century French face powders and perfumes came in elaborate lithographed packages. This design is inspired by some of the advertising and boxes left over from that era.
It is full of micro dots and fine scale lines as thin as spider web silk, and couples flowers with a jazz age vertical stripe motif. To see exactly what is in here, check the image out in zoom mode.
Over all the look is vaguely art nouveau with elements of art deco, and the scale is small enough for doll clothes or doll house use.
