They are packed in so tightly that this fabric almost looks like a plaid from a distance. You get both rows and columns of this intersecting design. At each 1880's tinged intersection you get a tiny white diamond. I had doll houses or doll clothes in mind with this whole collection. This is small enough that Barbie would feel at home.
