This was my entry into the Evergreen Weekly design contest.
It is the pattern that inspired my Pohutukawa Signature Collection.
The Pohutukawa is an evergreen tree, native to New Zealand, and is known as the New Zealand Christmas Tree, as around Christmas time (in the middle of our summer) it bursts into frothy swathes of bright crimson flowers - very festive!
I currently have 3 other co-ordinates based on the stylized pohutukawa flower:
For the thrifty-minded, I have a 4-fat quarters-in-1-yard design , which features one fat quarter of each of these co-ordinates in 1 yard.
