Simple and charming!I see it on children fashion!
Hi Rhonda,When I was at home in Oz there was a Christmas Bush growing outside my bedroom window. I was so pleased to see it here. So beautiful.
Thank you very much, Karen! I am so glad that you could see the potential for this fabric being useful to quilters as that was very much part of my thinking when I created this design! :-)
Another wonderful design that a quilter would love.
Thank you very much for the wonderful comment. Emma! I wish I could send you some hot summer air from Australia to keep you warm! :-)

This would be gorgeous for summer - its so delicate and yet warm - I'd like to wrap my self up in it - Irish summers can be a bit on the cool side!
Thank you, Patricia! It was a thrill to read such a lovely, poetic response to my design!

I love the delicacy of the colors and petals. I thought you were harmonizing with pastels from red, green and gold. What a pleasure to learn this is an actual flower as well. My eye twirls along the lines of sight like the edges of a twirling skirt, fresh and free.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments, Sue Ellen! Thanks also for the suggestion, and the challenge!
I really like the Christmas Bush designs, and I admire the way you have so successfully accomplished the invisible tiling and the pleasant aspect of the scattering. I can't wait to see what you are can do with MY favorite Australian flower, the scaviola.
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic response to my Christmas Bush design, Su! I really love this shrub and miss the one that used to grow in our garden. It is at the top of my list of plants that I like to see flowering in the Summer. Maybe the gardener in the family will get the hint and plant a replacement!
Lovely to see these beautiful designs on sale - this being my absolute favourite, it is such a lovely flower.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Shelley!
Lovely Rhonda! Definitely not just for Christmas. It would make a lovely little girl's dress for summer
Thanks for asking, Su! As soon as I get a batch of fabric swatches proofed I will be making this fabric available for sale! I have a few patchwork projects lined up for their use, that are not just for Christmas!
When is this design coming on line Rhonda? (We've had Christmas now... we won't see these again for another year unless you release this fabric design...)
Thank you, Victoria! :-) Australian Christmas Bush is a beautiful shrub that flowers prolifically in Summer, Christmas time in Australia. It's botanical name is, Ceratopetalum Gummiferum.
what pretty little flowers. I'd never heard of Christmas bush before.
Thank you so much for those kind words, Angela!
The blossoms on cream are beautiful and the repeat looks amazing!
Thank you, Su! My fond memories of childhood Christmas celebrations are twined with visions of my mother decorating the house with fresh bouquets of Christmas Bush and Christmas Bells! You are so lucky to have a Christmas Bush thriving in your garden! We had one growing in our front yard, but it recently came to a sticky end! Oh well, off the plant nursery to look for a replacement.
Christmas bush! Wonderful. Flowering in my garden as well as in your lovely design, so nice to see!
