Collection: Diamonds and Vines
This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

This design was made freehand with felt tip pen and clear glaze marker on heavy paper. The glaze marker laid down clear shiny lines and dots and the pen's ink could not penetrate them, leaving delicate stripes and dots throughout the art. I scanned the image and uploaded a negative here, which is what you are looking at in mirror repeat. It's big. It's bold. And it sort of looks like a woodblock, but it is not. On a large enough section of this fabric you would get diagonal tiles alternating checkerboard style. Here you just see four corners of the two tile designs.

Looks great in yardage! I really like the alternating blues and greens, and the big bold nature of the whole design.
