Not new-born babies (for whom I would make a set of the soft polyhedra) but any age up to mid primary school (age 6?). Around the time they are learning about letter shapes and other shapes at all (which is generally younger in geek children than neurotypicals) or quite soon after. I'm not in mass production, though, so I don't have stats on this!

How young are the children you do this for? (My niece is in second grade, I think.)
If you were selling it as a book, though, you'd definitely want to include some form of mirror - as I do when it's in card form. Ideally, these days, that could be a safe soft plasticised and silvered film one, rather than an old-style one which might break.
Great idea - there are alot of ABC baby books already about but none quite like this with the added symmetry element. I love things you just can't get elsewhere and am sure this would be one.
Naturally, I think so; but I suspect it won't match up with many other people's views. :-D
What a great idea!
