detail view of a swatch printed on quilting cotton. The colors are closer together and muted from the on screen view, but the bird names are still legible on the QC - probably would not be on the twill or the knit, but should be good on all the other fabrics.

ha ha ha! I guess Spoonflower's "trending" is as fascinating and inscrutable as Flickr's "interestingness"! Thanks everyone!
You are just trendy these days! Happy Dragon Year!
But then again; maybe it is a popularity of the Designer behind this one..........
I imagine the programmers are getting a big kick out of mystifying the community of designers............
Maybe because we recently had a feather contest? Anyway, anything that get more views and comments is good. This is really a neat design with the names there. You should post a close up, and a pic of the fabric.
Been trying to figure it out - asked SF once about the algorithm and was referred to their FAQ. Have had stuff with no views or favoriting show up; and wasn't recently for sale either. Appears to be no logic afoot for "trending" that I could ever figure out. I do like the way you created the feathers out of text though!
LOL - thanks Joan! <P>"trending" - hmm - okay, before you commented this had 3 views, no comments, no faves, no facebook-likes and no purchases outside of my swatch batch. I suspect "trending" means "one fabric from each designer which has been marked for sale sometime in the past X days" sorted by some combination of how recently it was marked for sale and how "popular" the designer is and how popular the new design appears to be so far. Not as glamorous as it sounds, though it's a nice way to give new designs some exposure!
You've done it again.........................
