Somewhere between art nouveau and Edwardian lands these interlocking diagonal diamonds that are bisected by horizontal lines to turn the outline shapes also into triangles and hexagons. Everything is as twisted together as can be by flowing lines (the art nouveau element) but as formal and rigid as the filler designs in Victorian books. Very feminine in pink, red, white, and yellow. I did this in a larger scale than most of this series for projects seen from a further distance such as bedspreads or aprons. But this isn't so big that it would not work for apparel or crafts either.
