A bright, bold and theatrical pattern of alternating diamonds in a diagonal checkerboard form.
You could sort of call this argyle, though it doesn't completely fit traditional argyle style.
The feeling of this design is exotic and vaguely Indian (as in the country next to Pakistan, not the Cherokee Nation).
