Thank you Glimmmericks! This design was pure serendipity- the plant that attracted butterflies is a chance grown weed, I saw that particular species only once in several years, I grabbed my photo at random years later for photorefernce for a month long 'art a day' challenge online, and then when I joined Spoonflower I found the digital file of the watercolor and made it into a design.
Never throw away anything you've created! Recycling your own ideas can be very good.

I am so glad you had this up. I saw your fabric when I wasn't logged in and couldn't remember who did it. This is gorgeous!
Thank you Su! The cotton swatch actually photographed a bit darker than I thought it looked. And of course in full sunlight the crepe de chine photographed a bit lighter! Photographing fabric is tricky.
It looks great on the crepe de chine! The colors might be slightly paler (than on the quilting cotton swatch) but that very much suits the design which is lovely.

A doll I restored models a scarf of this design, made in crepe de chine.
On the silk crepe de chine the colors were very close to the original file, Just slightly paler.
The swatch looks great, did you get it printed on the cotton-silk for a scarf? And did the colors print similar or or even softer?
Thank you, Sue! I had also printed this on a fat quarter of the silk, which turned out really beautiful. I intend to hem it for a neck-scarf when I get caught up on other things.
Very pretty - I think it would print beautifully on the cotton voile.
