Sew a pocket to each bird on the tree to fill with treats for 25 days of celebration. Original illustrated design for advent calendar theme. Cardinal pockets are about 1 1/2" x 1 1/2 ", leave a small fabric allowance around each pocket to make them a little bigger, perfect for small candies (like chocolate kisses, smarties or tootsie rolls) or trinkets.
