Designed to make a little girls dress from one yard. Descending stripes that get further apart start from just under halfway down the yard - place the dress/skirt hem at the bottom of the fabric. You can then make a coordinating plain bodice from the top section of fabric. See photo for my example, and my blog for details on how I made my dress.
