the pantry door, and I thought that rather than put
I looked at the wooden paper-towel holder that came from my mother's, that I am going to attach to the pantry door, and I thought that rather than put a roll of paper towels on it, why not re-invent the old-fashioned roller towel? And since I had been thinking of calendars lately, and always have things-to-do lists, and since I had almost forgotten to take the garbage out before dark, this idea just arrived. Although the point of this calendar-towel was to help me remember to take out the garbage, once I thought of it there were lots of other possibilities....2 towels fit on one yard; for one in the wash while the next week is being used, or one to give away, or to make the roller twice as long. Lots of things-to-do notes (Bake bread; Walk to school) plus blank ones to put your own things-to-do on. I'll sew on permanent dates, like "Take out the garbage", and safety pin on more changeable dates. If you wanted more blank notes, let me know; I could make a swatch/fat quarter of them. (Right now, to order it myself, I have put labels on one of the calendars; I'll take them off again before putting it up for sale.)(This could be a custom item - let me know what day you want "Take out garbage" on, and what other items you want permanently on your calendar, and they can be printed on.)
