Printed beautifully - 2nd thumbnail above (double click for a clearer view), and especially on knit (3rd thumbnail), and was a delight to sew (4th thumbnail). Worn often!

I am one of your biggest fans Su, this design is chalked full of beautiful pastels
Thanks for checking the top out Penny and Joan, I really can't wait to wear it!
Thanks so much Deborah! I think the softness of this chalk design translated really well to the knit fabric... and even if it fades a bit with washing & wearing it will still be in keeping with the style, another good point!
Like the top you made out of Lines of Chalk. Such pretty pastels. Classy.
What I like most about my new top is that the scale of the design was perfect & the centre point I chose worked well. Also, because of the nature of the design I didn't have to worry too much about aligning the seams: perfect!

I think this will do well printed on knit.

Thanks Isabella for your comment on the open to interpretation-ness... I do strive for that with one half of me, while the other half seems compelled to regularity & symmetry... I do think this will do well in a knit (fuzzy in fuzzy) & will post the sample when it arrives...
I love how open to interpretation so many of your designs are, Su. In this I see castles rising in the distance through shimmering heat. It's a marvelous, versatile design.
Thanks K. - as you can tell, I am just completely hooked on these colours - I just kept working at that design until I got a similar feeling - I had to redo it about four times until it worked & I could let it go...

I didn't mean to compare this to Susan's design (which is also lovely -- in a different way), but not every combination of the same colors is this peaceful. I don't know if it's your use of chalk, or if it's the illusion of structure in a mist, but I reiterate -- gorgeous!
Thanks for that - have to thank SusaninParis for the colours as she 'found' them & this 'cosy fog' (Susan's description) is one result... it was fun to make a design based on a colour scheme.
I love these colors! Gorgeous!
I'm so glad you like it Susan - I like your 'cosy fog' description - may have to popularise that...!
Oh, I like this one - it's like a cozy fog!
