Rhonda I swear I have never ever seen a bird of prey in this until after I read your comment - and I am quite amazed! (I wonder if Penny was the same - thanks for your feedback!) I love your reading of it as an aid to the imagination... and the idea that it would therefore be a good furnishing for places where waiting times are long and distractions few!

I can see birds in the design, fantastic
Every time that I look at this terrific design I see something new! Today I saw the head of a bird of prey, a bit like a giant wedge-tail eagle, hovering over this fantastic aerial view of a desert landscape! This a wonderful fabric to look at and encourage the imagination to "see" the hidden images! This is what should be on furnishings in places where waiting times are long and distractions few!
Thanks for the feedback Melanie, re the swatch view - I bet you like it because the paint texture detail is visible - lost at FQ view no matter how big you make your screen because of blurring from compression. BUT it does actually print like the close up! (I have to photograph the remaining swatches)

I love the swatch view of this, fabulous!
Thanks for the "Wow!" comment Bobbin - it was made in 'virtual' traditional tho', didn't actually get oil paint on my hands...
Wow! To know too that this design was originally made with traditional materials is just amazing!
Thank you Sa'adatu for your very nice comment, I hope to see you wearing it some day!
Beautiful! I love the brown and blue combination, I would wear this any day
Oh that is exciting! Thanks for letting me know...

The texturing that is visible on the close up zoom is really sharp.

Thanks Claudia & Susan, appreciate the comments I've just uploaded it again as a mirror image - thanks for the hint Susan: it looks SO different...
I like the meandering feel of this design. Did you try it in the mirror image format?
Thanks Joan & Victoria - interesting what you say about the Australian-ness of the colours (just like trams seem very Melbourne to me!), now you mention it, it could be that area around Broome, WA & definitely Karajini, & the sparseness of te blue elements could be saying something about the lack of water in the dry season or the desert...
I really like this - seems very Australian to me, it makes me think of waves and some of the very red beaches of the Top End - or maybe it is the gorges in Karijini National Park.
You're right on track! I like the feel of it.
