How to Make a Fabric Mini Vase
A quilting-weight test swatch is just large enough to make a Fabric Mini Vase.

1. Remove the lid from a small, plastic, McCormick spice jar (other brands may work?). Pop off the sifter with the edge of a table knife.

2. Gather the fabric around the jar, using a rubber band to adjust the folds evenly.
3. Gently push the loose ends and rubber band to the inside of the jar. No stitches or glue needed--which makes recycling so easy!
4. I used larger pieces of fabbric around padded cans to create (battery-powered) tea-light holders. I coordinated table runners, napkins, and fabric bows. When the event ended, my fabric stored flat for another project.
Absolutely radiant with your wonderful colours - it makes me feel happy just looking at it.
Really like the colourway of these in the Brick kite series - will be interesting to see how they print (yellows, & especially the oranges)
