The recommended fabrics for this doll are the sateen, silk, kona, quilting, and poplin, due to the tiny tips at the feet and hands. Heavier weights will have a harder time turning inside out. This Ballerina started from an antique articulated paper doll which I altered to create a back to match the front, and assembled slightly differently to create a whimsical doll for a holiday worthy gift, or decoration.
