Made from an antique Japanese fabric stencil - virtual antique Japanese stencilled fabric. Because this pattern is made from a scan of the stencil, the color is textured, not flat. I scanned it at a higher resolution, so this pattern could be larger, with each hexagon about 2 1/4 inches across, but for now I have made it smaller, closer to the size of the original stencil.
