Little flower buttons on what is apparently the color puce. Can I just call it a pinkish grayish tan?

'Gray pink' doesn't have much of a ring to it either, does it - only marginally better than 'dead pink': if I think of - or come across - a better alternative I'll share it... I do like the pink so it would be good to give it a good name.

su_g, ew, "dead pink" isn't a great name, either! I'll have to mull that over. Any other suggestions?
I have heard this sort of pink (with a lot of gray in it) called 'dead pink' - which sounds awful, but better than puce? I think puce is brighter (#CC8899 seems to get the most agreement as puce, also described as "reddish-brown to purplish-brown'...)
