This is a Hoot... Who'ed a thunk Slugs would be Pretty!!
They'd certainly be more interesting to look at than the plain brown ones. I've seen pictures of banana slugs - they're a little too big and scarey to me.
Most beautiful slugs I've ever seen! Would our gardens be beautiful with these sliming around?
I love my little slugs. Wouldn't they be great on a gardening tote or apron? Or fun on an umbrella or lining a raincoat?
These are charming. You have captured their aura. Quite an amazing creature when you study it.
Just reloaded to put at 200 dpi so the pattern elements were a little smaller because it didn't look ditsy enough to me when I blew it up.
Chuckles are good. I'll take chuckles! ;-)
Hahaha. Oh golly, I'm having a wonderful chuckle over this ditsy print! They do look pretty.
I'm thinking very unique cotton silk boxers for Christmas!
Little boys might like a shirt or pyjamas made from this fabric. It would be just the thing to make their sisters squeal!
Ms. Frizzle is the teacher in the kids' "Magic School Bus" books. She always wears wacky science-related dresses, with prints of bugs, gemstones, teeth and toothbrushes, various types of lightbulbs, etc. Your design is actually a bit too subtle/pretty for Ms. Frizzle, I think... her dresses are on the garish side. ;o)
Thanks! I had fun doing this.
BTW Who is Ms Frizzle?
ha ha! I've never seen slugs look so lovely before! beautiful shading and background... looks like flowers or leaves from a distance, which makes me giggle - someone needs to make a Ms. Frizzle dress from it!
