This design evokes fond memories of my Dad's dahlia garden. Every Autumn it bloomed with masses of deep crimson flowers. They were his pride and joy! He delighted in sharing the beauteous bounty with anyone who admired them. Chocolate brown, cherry red and Autumn green, plus the optional white, are the only colours used in this design as per the limited palette of the "Autumn" design contest rules.
