I started to make an autumn quilt pattern, based on a hanging I did for my mother years ago, which had one fabric with leaves on it. Simple geometry, although not a traditional pattern, that I know of. Put some of my leaf drawings onto the hexagonal piece, then just for fun, added them to the other pieces. Then I thought "What if I took away the piecework, and just kept the leaves?" The background prints a little bluer than it shows here, and at night it looks quite a bit darker, so there is more contrast. When I got my large piece this week, there was a small problem with the way it printed, not visible in my swatch. I have to track down the "ghost" in the file, and reload the design. It should be available for sale again soon.
