Outlined leaves in a geometric pattern on a bluegreen background. I started to make an autumn quilt pattern, based on a hanging I did for my mother years ago, which had one fabric with leaves on it. Simple geometry, although not a traditional pattern, that I know of. Put some of my leaf drawings onto the hexagonal piece, then just for fun, added them to the other pieces. Then I thought "What if I took away the piecework, and just kept the leaves?"
