Every childhood memory I have from a bowling alley includes something to do with the rental shoes. It was either my feet were too small and I had to bowl in socks... or my friends had different sizes and got cooler colors...some rental shoes were particularly stinky... sometimes I got stuck with the velcro closures. This pattern is an homage to those classy rental shoes. 10 points for style.
