Doll is approx 11" tall. For best results, sew hands, head, collars, shoulders, shoe soles and pocket flaps by hand; machine works fine for the long seams.
Sew head and hands; stuff nose, chin, fingers first, then rest of head and hands. Sew free edges of waist coat, then seams, sew front of WC shut as if buttoned up. Sew/fold WC standing collar, attach to WC. Sew/fold tie, attach to white shirt below chin. Insert head into WC neck, position, sew in place.
Sew white shirt sleeve cuffs then seams. Position stuffed hands in sleeves, sew hands in place. Stuff shirt sleeves, then sew to WC shoulders. Stuff WC only to the waist. WC can be shortened if desired.
Sew legs' seams then crotch. Stuff: if you want a standing/leaning doll, leave legs as is, if you want a sitting doll, sew flat joint seams at bottom of rump and at knees. Attach waist of stuffed legs to WC. Sew shoe soles to feet.
Sew frock coat free edges, then seams. Sew standing collar and pocket flaps and attach. Snaps/velcro on coat are optional.
