Well done :-)
I had a hunch that you would place high on this one. Congrats Drea. This little guy is so adorably cute.
Congrats on 2nd!
Wow, thank you all! Amongst all the plushie wonderfulness, it feels awesome to place so high -- thank you so much for the votes/support! and yes, madaise, he will be available at my Etsy store (http://www.ttoz.etsy.com/) by early next week!!!
Congratulations! He's so cute! I would love to sew him for my grand-daughter.. will you be offering it for sale?

Congratulations Drea ~ awesome design and totally fabulous! :D xxx
Yikes! Time lag so I didn't see all your comments until I got on my page! Thank you all so much!!! I really enjoyed this contest and can't wait to get the fabric in the mail -- it was sent out yesterday so I'll sew him up as soon as he gets here!
Congrats, Drea! Look forward to seeing the sewn up turtle. My son loves this pattern.
Congrats! One of my favorites.
Congratulations Drea- I'm happy that this made the top 10!
Yay! Congratulations Drea!!!
congratss with this awesome turtle!!! :D
Congratulations! Never underestimate the power of tightey-whiteys!
Congrats on 2nd, Drea!!! LOVE this guy!
Congratulations with 2nd place in this week's contest, Drea! He is just the sweetest turtle ever!!!
Thank you so much, MariaO and Anja! He-he, I would have loved to have a tortoise as a pet (especially if it was named 'Frieda')! That's awesome! This guy is the closest we will get for now, though!:)
I really love this turtle, Drea! When I was a kid, we had a tortoise as a pet. Her name was 'Frieda' and she was lovely but not as cute as this one!
wahoo this is amazing! a great complement to your collection!
Thank you, Isabella, Angela, and Heather! My son's attention span is only so long, so I thought this pattern would be even better if I made it a little more 'interactive'! I am so glad you guys like it!
Seriously brilliant & adorable! I love that his shell is removable.
I love that his shell comes off! Adorable!
What a super design. It's well engineered and totally cute.
Thank you PinkSodaPop and vo! That really means a lot! I can't wait to try out some other plushies that are rolling around in my brain!
I'm so behind in my comments! This is a technical wonder and so, so, cute. And it deserves to win!

Thank you so much Liesbeth, Pipsa, and Faratiana (wow, I love all your names!:)! I definitely plan on making some different color friends for him so keep a lookout!
This is such a smart and cute toy design ! I agree with "celebrindal" about the different colored shells :)
This is really lovely, and I really like that it has removable shell, you could even make a few different colored shells to change the look completely :)
Oooh I love this! Especially his cute little underpants. Can't have naked turtles running around...
Thank you Julie and Lisa! I am so happy you like him!! I took a lot of pictures for the instructions, so my hope is it will be fun and not frustrating!:)
This is awesome!
Fantastic design! Your finished project illustration is wonderful too. He would be really fun to make!
Wow, thank you so much Carina, SEF, Monica, Kathleen, Jen, and Natalie! I have now learned a new word ("Chelonian Plushie" would have been a much better title), added 'awesomesauce' to my vocabulary, and am relieved that 'turtle_soup' likes this tighty whitey turtle (OOH, an even better title, me thinks:)!!! Seriously, you guys' support is wonderful, completely pushed away this mini gray cloud I've had hovering over my head lately!!♥
LOOOOOOOOVE this!!! ADORABLE!
brilliant! I love his goldfish undies!
AAAH! I'm going into cuteness-overload mode...this is adorable!
omg the tightey whiteys are awseomesauce!!!
I considered uploading my own "tortlepin" (combination name from my youth) but in the end I went with the thing I wanted most myself. So it's good that you had the chelonians covered.
soooo fun with that removable shell!!! and soo cute :)
Thank you Amy, Shannon, and Victoria! @Shannon: It took sketching it out on paper then trying to tape it together, a muslin try, a fabric stash/swatch try (the one pictured with the octopus)...tweaked the shell a bit, and then made the final prototype...so maybe my brain does not work that way either;) @Victoria: I had to look up 'Franklin' (first I thought he was someone on here so you scared me!:) and I know who you're talking about now! Maybe this guy is his sea relative!
Oh, I really love the underwear.
He reminds me of "Franklin", although Franklin is a turtle. He is very sweet. I love the removable shell.
Amazing design. My brain just does not work this way to put such an awesome design together. It's fantastic!
What a wonderful thing to wake up to -- thank you so much for the great comments and pick-me-up! Yes, Rhonda, quiet is VERY good (and rare) when you have a toddler, so I am happy to help in any way!;)
This is a wonderfully well thought out design, Drea! Kids will love this friendly little turtle..... and quiet is GOOD when it comes to interactive toys and games!
This is so epic! I love the removable shell, and the tighty whities that go along with it :)
This guy is so cute! I love the calm colors! The story is very sweet too :)
wow ~ fab!! xxx
Love this one!
This goes so well with your ocean designs! Love it
Hehe this is my fav. So sweet. And the underpants is such a hilarious detail! <3 Lovely plush toy to create :D
This is great and I love that that shell comes off.
Yikes! The delayed posting has me a bit behind! Thank you so much everyone! After a few long nights of figuring this pattern out, it just completely makes my day to hear the positive feedback!
this is awesome, Drea! So creative!
Love love love this!
Totally super cute!!!! Can't wait to see the final sewn up guy!!
Oh for .. CUUUTE!! :) Love the idea of "dressing" the turtle in the shell - kids love stuff like that. And the undies...hahaha!! Great idea!
Love it! I'm sure your son will love it too. Love that you can dress the turtle.
EEEk! This is fabulous. I love it all, especially the underoos!
Oh my gosh, your turtle is completely adorable, I looove him!
This is so adorable! I love turtles. :D
What a great idea, Drea. Interactive & cute. The little octopus is adorable also.
AW! Super sweet! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
