Turnaround doll (92 views)
This is my entry for the plushie contest, it's a pattern to make a doll whose dress hides the other doll. You can play with either a princess or a maid (kind of like Cinderella).
Instructions:
All pieces have 5 mm seam allowance.
Sew and fill hand pieces
Place hand pieces in their correct positions in the body pieces and sew them. You can sew the princess all the way through but leave the maid all the way open from the head for turning the doll around.
Sew both sides of the hem pieces and finally sew the hem pieces together from the bottom so that the princess' dress is on one side and the maid's dress is on the other side.
Sew the hem pieces together with the body pieces, this can be a bit tricky because of the bulky hands, but you can try using a zipper foot or just hand stitch them together.
Turn the doll around, fill it and sew the maids head by hand. And you're done :)
