This one yard cheater quilt is done in the style of traditional Hawaiian quilts, where a single piece of fabric is folded and cut, much the same way a paper snowflake is made. I have added a border to this version for those who prefer a rectangular quilt. I have done the more traditional, square, version of this design in several colors; and am planning several coordinating patterns to be used as backing, or other accessories. I have also done another design, with a slightly different wide border, which also makes a 36x42 inch rectangular quilt.
