This is cool. I saw a cool button up shirt photo you had on Flikr yesterday. It looks like your sewing skills are quite accomplished.
Thanks Sue Ellen - I like your idea of cushions on rattan - the colors would suit I feel, and your comment on how the "off primary" colors contribute to the design is very helpful!

It would look great as the cushions on some nice heavy oak easy chairs, or rattan for the porch. The colors are pleasantly "off" primary, so they come across softly, and with a nice "natural" look, complemented by the soft, natural shapes.
Thanks so much for the comments on this design, it certainly would be "out there" as upholstery.
The subtle weaving of this pattern looks fabulous on the yardage view, Su! This would make an awesome upholstery fabric!
Say now, those messy scribbles look neatly organized when you zoom out to yard view. I like it!
