Please note my observations before clicking to buy this fabric. I ordered a yard of my velvet leaf design and when it arrived I was slightly disappointed to find a very thin white line at the fat quarter depth. I have reviewed my design to see if my artwork size was slightly out but it wasn't, bang on 21 x 18 so it was a little bit odd this happened. I uploaded a revision although with not finding an obvious problem I can't confirm if the white line has gone or whether I was just unlucky with my piece and it was a one off. I felt it necessary to point this out to avoid any disappointment for anyone considering buying a piece larger than a fat quarter. Thanks. I found these wonderful leaves in the garden. No idea what plant they are but they grow in clusters amongst fern and through cracks in the paving slabs. The reason I called my design velvet leaves is because on the back of the leaves are thick grooves of velvety stuff so the back is much more interesting than the front. I scanned them in and lightly manipulated in Pshop with some poster edges and a few colour changes to add interest to the design repeat. This design comes in a larger leaf print using the same colours, a mid size leaf with a midnight blue/purple background and this is the small scale leaf repeat.
