Thanks for favoriting so many designs Karen - especially this one which is so 'out there' - I'm thinking about swatching it again to see if the 'reds' print any better in the new color system...

Thanks for that Patricia, I googled it & you're right - the most common spelling is 'Torii' (altho' my book uses 'Tojii' this seems to be a little-used alternate), so on that basis I renamed it & made a note. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, very helpful. And I'm so glad another person likes it, I created it because I fell in love with a texture I made by accident... & went down this elaborate track of working out how to incorporate it...& I had these wonderful red gates in my mind at the same time... and this is the result, but it is a bit 'out there' for fabric...
Hi, Su! I noticed a possible misspelling...did you mean torii gate with an r? I'm enjoying the gradations of green intersecting with the right side of the gate and the frost-crystal-like interior. Your palette of textures is inspiring!
Thanks VERY much for that Amy, I'm so glad someone likes it as it is not a very traditional design... and thanks for taking the trouble to comment - I needed it!
