Thanks. It's a very attractive grid from which to start a design. That certainly helps.

I love the original colours and the pattern is lovely!
It was looking at photos of the oddly concave flowers (because of the way their petals curl up) which gave me the idea that a tessellation would be possible at all. Ellipses on their own don't tessellate!
Anyhow, I risked the wrath of caffeinated cthulhu by entering this one in the contest instead a couple of hours ago. For the miniscule risk of finishing in the top 10, it's better to leave people with something they are more likely to use - and it would stand a good chance of being in my next batch of proofs anyway. But I'm a bit too busy to put one together just now.
this is indeed very pretty. I like the roasted version just about equally with this but for different reasons. This would be great for kitchen curtains or even a skirt - just a nice simple geometric print that (were it not for the title) I would only belatedly see coffee beans in. (I wouldn't recognize the flowers since I've only seen them in photos and not often, but the flower effect is quickly evident and very nice.) I like the subtle nod to coffee.
... and I've already done him a profile banner.

I do have to make a decision soonish, though, with the deadline finally looming. Incidentally, the roasted beans have always had more views than the fresh ones, despite being up for quite a lot less time.
I uploaded that one first because it was my favourite too. But then, some time later, I decided to add the other colour scheme anyway. If I was going for the pretty vote, this would definitely be my entry now. However, I think that would just make Cthulhu madder than he already is.
This is really nice, Sef. I love that you have both an unroasted and roasted version (although this is my favorite).
