This sweet panel includes a pattern for a skirt, coordinating doll skirt, tote and applique pattern. The illustration is based on sketches I made with my young daughter while sitting in the gardens at Hampton Court Palace in England. During our trip we embarked on a mission to find at least one unicorn in art per day. Grace and I were so excited to find them everywhere at Hampton Court! The skirt can be made to many different sizes using simple waist and length measurements, the instructions are printed on the fabric (it is a very basic circle skirt with elastic waistband). Just one yard makes so many fun things! Use the background scraps for yo-yo embellishments, fabric roses, wrapped headbands... You can also use this panel to make a round table cloth, small round placemat, round pillows or cushions. Use your imagination. It coordinates with other fabric in my Unicorns collection. **the skirt can fit many sizes, Waist is any size up to 24 inches. The wider the waist, the shorter the skirt will be. The smaller the waist, the longer the skirt will be. You cut the "hole" for the waist from the center "lace" rings - so the number of lace rings that adorn the upper portion of the skirt changes depending on the waist size. I used quilters cotton in the sample skirts because of the contest parameters but I suggest using the Organic Cotton Sateen for the best "twirl" and softness.
