A striped pencil-line skirt with slanted pockets in one yard, designed for 54" wide fabric & adult sized for a 33.5" (85 cm) waist & 43.75" (111 cm) hip (my dimensions; smaller sizes will need adjustment). Entry in the One Yard Skirt Contest: stripes are so hard to join exactly when sewing I thought they made a good subject for this challenging exercise. Zoom to see my original sketch which has red top-stitching across the pockets & down the centre front (now faux) seam. For people who sew clothing this is definitely where on-demand fabric printing is going & a good thing too: no more mucking around with paper patterns!
