plenty of his arched and spread wings. And the pea
Okay, I admit, there is no full body partridge in this late autumn colored abstract. But there are plenty of his arched and spread wings. And the pear tree is subjective too. You have brown upright sections that could be the bark, and big circles that could be where all the leaves grow. You even have some dusky pastel green accents that could be leaves. But no literal partridges on branches here. Instead you have a feeling of the season where one might sing "and a partridge in a pear tree." You have the tree ornaments interlocking in big circles with each other. You have paisleys and flowers and spikes, and hearts. Nothing concrete here at all. It is an abstract. But it has the feeling of warm winter fireplaces and holiday cheer. (file Image010_crop)
